Central control: staff accounts, audit trail and the systems the hub runs
The online copy on Linode, for staff and clients outside the office. This office hub stays the master: every minute it takes over the changes made online (meetings, claims, registrations, statuses…) and sends its data there. Only this server connects out, so nothing in the office is opened to the internet.
One-off. Copies Training (courses, tests, results, certificates, learner and admin logins, its email setting) to Linode, which installs it there within a minute. Only when Linode reports it installed and running is the Training on this server switched off, the links pointed to the online addresses and clients sent to the online Client Hub. If the install fails, the office Training simply stays on. It can also be switched back on here later.

Every week the hub emails the last 7 days to this list, from noreply@servility.co.za: site / project registrations, Project Discount projects and staff claims. Sage sales and invoices join once Sage is connected.
One mailbox for every email the systems send: password links, Project Discount forms and the Friday report. Your email provider gives you these details.
Issue and look up serial numbers. It opens in its own window with the same staff email and password.

Discount forms for projects. It opens in its own window with the same staff email and password.
Read from Project Discount. To change a project, open Project Discount.

The hub reads new Site Solution Form emails from this mailbox every 5 minutes, so registrations come in even when Brad's PC is off. It only reads: emails are not marked read, moved or deleted, so Outlook and the desktop registry keep working as before. Registrations it already has are skipped.
Works out local selling prices for goods imported from overseas suppliers. Supplier USD prices come straight from the Sales Agreement price list: DD-FENCE (China, bought through CAT) and HID. Landed cost = USD price + import cost, times the rand rate. Each price level divides the level it builds on (e.g. ÷ 0.70 = 30% margin on the selling price). Change the numbers to test a quote; admins can save them as the default.
Kit totals multiply each line by its quantity per kit (set on the Sales Agreement price list). Lines with no USD price (Servility software, splice box) are not imported, so they are left out of the calculation.
Gross profit (GP) against the GP target in each employee's contract (Schedule D): net sales excluding VAT and approved credits, less landed product cost. Figures are imported from Sage until the live Sage link is set up.
Export from Sage (Excel .xlsx or .csv): the Sales By Customer report works as it is (customers are matched to the employee who looks after them, e.g. Sensor → Nico, Taropa → Andre), or any report per sales rep. Choose the file, check the columns and the matching, then import. Importing a month again replaces that month for those employees.
Sage's Sales By Customer report only has selling prices. To get GP from it, export your item list from Sage with the item code and cost price (excl. VAT), and load it here once (again when costs change). GP = sales − quantity × cost.
| Employee | Annual GP target (R) | Q1 % | Q2 % | Q3 % | Q4 % |
|---|
Example: Andre Le Roux, performance year 2026: R1,482,000, split 20 / 30 / 30 / 20 (Q1 R296,400 · Q2 R444,600 · Q3 R444,600 · Q4 R296,400). Employees come from Employee Information & Contracts.

Employee records and employment contracts, signed in the hub. Each employee only sees their own record and contracts.
Open the document in a new tab if it doesn't show here (e.g. on a phone).

How signing works: an admin uploads the contract as a PDF and clicks Send. The employee signs in to the hub with their own login, reads the contract, initials each part and draws their signature. Servility signs too (before or after). When both have signed, the hub makes one signed PDF with the initials on every page and a signature page with the audit trail, ready to download.
Above ground is the sensing net on the fence: U-loops, zigzag or loop back. Underground is the buried sensor in a trench. Pipeline and HV cable protection can be straight or S-shaped. One zone covers 1 km; the longest run on this system is 40 km. www.servility.co.za
Straight pull = friction × cable weight × 9.81 × pull length. Cable sheet: short-term 1,500 N, long-term 600 N. If the pull is over the limit, split the pull.
Disclaimer: Servility is not liable for a quantity ordered from this calculator. Check the measured route before you order cable.
